I use different surfactants to improve function of filtration. The pulp i used for the tests is the output of the leach stage and has pH 2. According to the result of XRD analysis and pzc of minerals in the pulp, I predicted that the anionic surfactant had a better result, but anionic surfactant had a bad result and cationic surfactant had a better result. How do you analyze it?

Not trying to be sarcastic (okay a little), but the old fashioned way of doing lab testing is often the most reliable. The are lot of things going on that theoretical work can miss, such as mineral and chemical interactions. Just going into the lab and trying it can save a lot of troubles.

The reactions of the lixavent, minerals and general water chemistry can cause surface changes that the other test miss.
