  1. I am doing a flotation test for my undergrad. I have done all the necessary calculations including grade for each time interval. So, how do i calculate cumulative grade so that i can plot grade-recovery curves?

See the example below to calculate the cumulative grade for the first two products,

Product 1: mass, 17.9 g; Pb grade, 5.60%, Flotation time, 0.5 minutes

Product 2: mass, 19.9 g; Pb grade, 5.56%, Flotation time, 0.5 minutes

Products 1 to 2: mass, 17.9 + 19.9 = 37.8 g

                        Flotation time, 0.5 + 0.5 = 1 minute

                        Pg grade, [((17.9 x 0.0560) +(19.9 x 0.0556))/37.8] x 100 =5.58%

You have to repeat the same process to calculate the cumulative grade for the other products (e.g Products 1 to 3). I imagine that you will not problems to calculate the cumulative recovery.

You might want to look at the general topic of metallurgical accounting/balances: https://redesign.911metallurgist.com/blog/metallurgical-accounting-formulas

What Jorge gave was a specific example of this general topic.
