Froth Pipe Discharge Plugging (1 reply)

All,

We have been having issues with plugging on the discharge of our vertical froth pumps? This is in a copper mill. When we opened up the pipe we found that much of the diameter of the pipe was covered in a buildup. Please see the attached pictures. Has anyone else experience this and does anyone have a clue as to what it is?

Did you analyze the sample? What pH does the mill typically run at?
