hi All,

Can anyone advise me if Guar gum can be used as a depressant in flotation in Gold mine processing? Guar gum is an effective depressant for talc but also depress pyrite. Is there a way around not to depress pyrite?

Is there a way around not to depress pyrite - yes, simple. Don't use depressants
