Hi, can someone tell me from experience, what the smallest gold particle size is that will fall through water due to gravity of 1g? I.e. will not stay suspended.

If possible, can you give a range for clear and silty water?

Thanks

If the water is still (not moving) all particles will settle, eventually.  The rat of settling may be very slow, but it will settle.  Okay accept for some nano sized particles, but even they will eventually settle.  May take years.
