I recently purchased a trommel from a friend. It was built by an engineer who is now deceased. It incorporates a shaker deck, a scrubber trommel and a jig. It works fine without the jig (sluicing). The friend didn’t use it. I am curious as to what type of jig it may be. All the machanicals work and it has a 3/8” ish screen. Not bedding charge at this time.

There are a nmber of different types of jigs (see: https://www.smartdogmining.com/notebook/Intro%20to%20Jigs.html), so without more information or better pictures of the jig it is hard to give an accurate answer.
