What would be the expected micron size range of carbon fines in a CIL circuit?

If you want to know the screen openeing to separate the loaded carbon, you can consider 600 microns. Interstage screens have an opening ranging from 0.7 to 0.9 mm.

Thanks Jorge. Would a technology capable of recovering >25 micron size without using chemicals have value in a carbon fines recovery circuit?

WTand C,

Carbon attrition throughout your circuit means that carbon fines can be down to sub-micron size AND they will load to very high levels contributing to your overall gold/silver losses. This is why it is so important to limit any form of carbon attrition.

I can help you with this issue if you wish.

Cheers,

Rob
