Hi, i'm a student and in framework of my studies i have to plan a Proccesing Plant. My part is the CIL Plant, and as i'm not into the Hydrometallurgy i have some questions... I hope somebody here can help me.
We have an sulfide pyrite mineral.
So the input is around 15 t/h, with a density of 3t/m^3. So i've calculated the should be around 10m^3 if i have a residence time about 1 hour and solid content of 50%. I think i will need 6 reactors in series.
I think i will need around 10kg/t cyanide, around 15kg/t coking coal and some Lime but haven't found yet how much it should be... (Anyone an idea?)
so far is anything correct?
I also have to plan the following parts of the plant like the smelting, kiln, electrowinning, stripping of the coal... Has anyone an idea of the prices for such a plant? Have found some price at the internet but im not sure if they are correct...
Smelting around 37 000$
Kiln 83 500 $
Desorption and electrowinning 126 000$
