Good Morning all,

Using a Zadra elution circuit at what temperature does a cold strip become a hot strip and what are the essential differences between the two.

130 degrees C is typical for normal stripping - anything below boiling would be considered a cold strip per se.  This comes down to atmospheric stripping vs pressure stripping really not temperature.  Above boiling you need to pressurize the column.  Pressurizing and heating reduces the strip time by a factor of +4.
