I have read the leach emitters can be subject to clogging from recirculating suspended solids. Would removing all suspended solids >1 micron be a significant improvement for the leaching circuit?

Trying to remove the fine particles is useful partially. Traditionally, emitters need an intense use of Antiscalant, and they require the use of in-line filters to minimize the clogging problems. For example, approximately, the top level of the heap may not be leached very well until it is covered with the next lift. In general, emitters do not provide continuous drip coverage.
