Separating Manganese from Aluminium Dioxide (No replies)

Hello,
I tried to make thermite reaction with crushed manganese oxide ore, so the manganese oxide could become a pure manganese without oxide. I want to ask if I could separate the pure manganese from the aluminium? Can I dissolving the aluminium oxide with leaching or something?
