Respected,

After exposure of ore to chlorine water at higher boiling temperatures and withdrawal of ocher-yellow powders using iron(ll) sulfate. How to release the powder of other non-noble metals and get a pure golden powder capable of melting?

From the rest of the chlorine water adding pure sodium carbonate NaCO3 I get a black and brown powder that is collected in larger forms and breaks hard. Reminiscent of Ruthenium powder.

I assume that iron (ll) sulfate pulls all metals or just certain??

Do all metals, unwanted or just gold, melt in chlorine water??

What could be the second powder? What does NaCO3 pull?

Is it even advisable to work with pure soda?
