In Sizing a CoSO4 mixing system for a Cu EW plant. This system must be sufficiently robust to source CoSO4 from different suppliers so anhydrous to heptahydrate products and up to very coarse particle size <= 1/4 inch (~6 mm). Mixing in fresh water temperatures from 10-26 deg C (50-80 deg F) at 6% concentration. And will have sufficient mixing to keep 6 mm particles suspended until dissolved. A distributor supplies CoSO4 solutions for customers uses 4 hours mix time for < 1/2 mm product at essentially these temperature, concentration conditions. Am seeking guidance on proper mixing cycle time time (e.g. dissolution time) requirements. Thanks!
