Hello,

I need help on the ways to improve the quality of the ash produced after incinerating fine carbon.

We have introduced  drier to reduce moisture but still the ash contains so much fine carbon that is not completely combusted. Please can anyone help me on this if we can add or modify anything to improve the quality of the ash.

I think you should evaluate two options, one is the Flat Flame Burner, and the other is the Drop Tube Furnace. In the first case, fine ash and anthracite were tested and the results indicated that the ignition time was reduced approximately 50%. In the second option, the addition of oxygen is important to get goof results. The idea is to increase the temperature in the main combustion zone (by 50 to 80oC )

You combust the carbon to release any trapped metals.
